Do you need ID to play GTA 6?

No ID check for GTA 6 has been announced by Rockstar, Sony or Microsoft. In the UK and Ireland, PlayStation and Xbox ask adults to verify their age to keep chat features, not to play games. Australia requires age checks for online games classified R18+, but nobody has said how that applies to GTA 6.
