The Leonida

Editorial policy

How we decide what goes in the paper, and what we do when we get something wrong.

What counts as confirmed

A fact about GTA 6 appears on The Leonida only if it comes from Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive: their websites, trailers, press releases, store listings, earnings statements, or interviews in which they are quoted directly. Reporting by other outlets counts only when it quotes or cites Rockstar or Take-Two, and we link to both.

We do not publish leaks, datamines of unreleased material, or rumors as fact. When a claim is widely repeated but unconfirmed, we may explain its status, clearly labeled as unconfirmed.

Sources on every page

Every article and every database entry lists its sources. The confirmed ledger records each fact with the date it was confirmed.

After launch

From Nov. 19, guides and walkthroughs are based on playing the released game. Where something is still unclear, such as how a system works in every case, we say what we observed and update the guide as we learn more.

How we write

Our writers use AI tools to help with research and drafting. Every piece is checked by an editor against its sources before it is published, and an editor is responsible for everything we print.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it, keep the original publication date, show when the story was updated, and add a note describing the change. Send corrections to contact@theleonida.com.

Images

Official screenshots, artwork and trailers belong to Rockstar Games and are credited under each image. We use them for news reporting and commentary.

Independence

We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive and are not paid for coverage.
