GTA 6 price: Standard vs. Ultimate Edition, pre-order bonus and collector's box

Grand Theft Auto VI costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the US, Take-Two announced when pre-orders opened. Store listings put it at £69.99 and £89.99 in the UK, €79.99 and €99.99 in Germany and France, and C$109.99 and C$139.99 in Canada. Brazil, Australia, Japan and South Korea are in the table below.

Every pre-order and purchase before Nov. 20, 2026, includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add a free month of GTA+. The Ultimate Edition adds 16 items spread through the story. This guide covers both editions, the bonuses, the boxed version and the extras Rockstar and Sony sell alongside GTA 6.

GTA 6 price by country

We checked these store prices on Oct. 8, 2026. Other countries are not listed here, and retailer prices may differ. GTA 6 is sold on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Rockstar Games Store, and through retailers worldwide. Standard vs. Ultimate Edition

GTA 6 comes in two editions. Rockstar describes the Standard Edition as the game plus pre-order bonuses. The Ultimate Edition adds what Rockstar calls "an exclusive collection of items threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia's story." Rockstar says new items are uncovered with each chapter, so they arrive as the story moves on rather than all at once.

Upgrading from Standard to Ultimate

Both console stores list a "Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition Upgrade" add-on. On the US Xbox Store it costs $20, the same as the gap between the two editions. On the PlayStation Store, the upgrade still showed as "Unavailable" for pre-order when we checked on Oct. 8, and the listing does not say when that will change.

In Brazil, the Xbox Store lists the upgrade at R$100.00, again the gap between the two editions, and the PlayStation Store showed it as unavailable on Oct. 8.

Pre-order bonus: Vintage Vice City Pack

Rockstar says all GTA 6 pre-orders and purchases before Nov. 20, 2026, get the Vintage Vice City Pack, in either edition and either format. Store listings word the cutoff as 23:59:59 on Nov. 19. It is the same window: buy by the end of launch day. Our countdown runs a clock to the deadline.

The pack contains, per Rockstar's official site:

• '55 Vapid Stanier and the Shore Court garage. A two-tone classic sedan, plus a personal garage near Ocean Beach in Vice City. The garage has a weapon locker and a place to stash stolen goods for fencing.
• Outfits and hairstyles. A pastel linen suit for Jason; a red sequin mini dress and curls for Lucia.
• Palm-tree weapon pattern. A finish for most guns that Rockstar says is inspired by Tommy Vercetti's palm tree button-up shirt. That is a reference only: Rockstar has not announced Tommy Vercetti as a character in GTA 6.

Free month of GTA+ for digital pre-orders

Take-Two says digital pre-orders also include a free month of GTA+. Read the fine print before counting it as a GTA 6 bonus:

• Every GTA+ benefit Rockstar lists relates to GTA Online on GTA V or to the GTA+ Games Library. None mentions GTA 6 content.
• According to the Rockstar Store FAQ, you must redeem it by March 31, 2027, on PlayStation, or within 180 days of purchase on Xbox.
• The PlayStation Store notes that the subscription renews automatically after the free month.
• PlayStation's own FAQ words the offer a little more widely: digital purchases of either edition on the PlayStation Store before Nov. 20, 2026, qualify, and the month can be claimed once per account.

Everything in the Ultimate Edition

Rockstar lists 16 items. Five of them are businesses that Rockstar marks as Ultimate Edition only: the Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's mod shops, Sara's Unisex Salon, the Stock 305 clothing store and the Electric Fang tattoo parlor.

Code in Box vs. digital

The Standard Edition comes as a digital download or as Code in Box; the Ultimate Edition is digital only. Code in Box is the physical version, but it holds a download code, not a disc.

According to the Rockstar Store, the boxed version needs an internet connection and a platform account to download the game, and PlayStation codes are region-locked to North America, the UK, or the EU and rest of Europe. The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection

The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection is a collector's box of merchandise, not a game edition. Rockstar's announcement is explicit: "Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately."

Rockstar opened pre-orders on Sept. 24 at store.rockstargames.com, while supplies last, and says the box arrives Nov. 19. Details for Asia, Latin America and Australia are still to come.

VICE reported a price of $399.99 on Sept. 24, saying the figure appeared on the Rockstar Store. We could not confirm it on Rockstar's store page, so treat it as press-reported.

The box contains:

• A 6-inch Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment
• GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses
• A New Era 9FORTY snapback
• A Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
• A Vice City swizzle spoon
• A Vice City razor blade keychain
• A Leonida Keys crossbody bag
• A Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
• A Leonida Keys enamel pin set
• Stickers in a stash bag
• A double-sided souvenir poster with the Leonida map

GTA 6 limited-edition DualSense controllers

Sony revealed Grand Theft Auto VI Limited Edition DualSense wireless controllers at its Sept. 3 State of Play, in Black and White versions. They cost $84.99, €84.99, £74.99 or ¥12,480. Pre-orders opened Sept. 10 on direct.playstation.com, and the controllers launch starting Nov. 19.
