These terms apply to everyone who uses theleonida.com (“The Leonida,” “we”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

What The Leonida is

The Leonida is an independent fan publication about Grand Theft Auto VI, based in Europe and written mainly for readers in the United States. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto, GTA and related names and marks are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, and Rockstar's screenshots, artwork and trailers belong to Rockstar Games. We use them to report on and discuss the game, and credit them where they appear.

What we publish

We report only what Rockstar, Take-Two or press quoting them have confirmed, and we cite our sources, as our editorial policy describes. Still, details can change before and after a game comes out, and the site is general information, not advice. Check prices, dates, editions and other details with Rockstar or your store before you buy. Our guides describe what we found in our own copy of the game, and patches can change it; we update guides when they do.

Accounts

• You need to be 13 or older to have an account, and you can have one.
• Use an email address that's yours and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Follow the community rules. Moderators can stop an account that breaks them from reacting, and we can suspend or close accounts that abuse the site or other readers.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

What you add

Your username, display name, profile picture choice and reactions, and your comments if we turn comments on, are your responsibility. By adding them, you let us store them, show them on the site and moderate them for as long as they're on your account. We can remove anything that breaks these terms or the community rules.

Our content

The Leonida's own writing, design, screenshots we take in the game, and the way we compile our library and other data are ours. Material that belongs to others, such as Rockstar's images, stays theirs, and we credit it. You're welcome to share links to any page and to quote a few sentences with a link back to it. Please don't republish whole articles, copy the library or our other data in bulk, or use automated tools to collect our content at scale without our written permission. Search engines are welcome to index the site.

If you own something we've used

If something on the site uses your work without permission or isn't credited correctly, email contact@theleonida.com with the page address and what's yours. We will look at it quickly, and credit or remove it.

Other sites

We link to Rockstar, stores and other sites so you can check our sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them; their own terms and policies apply.

Emails and alerts

If you sign up for the newsletter, the unlock email or alerts on your device, we send only what you signed up for, and you can stop any of them at any time.

No guarantees

We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, pause or remove features, pages or content at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes, and we change the date at the top when we do. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.

The law where you live

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
