Take-Two to report earnings Nov. 9, its last before GTA 6 launches

Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, will report its results for the quarter that ended Sept. 30 after the stock market closes on Monday, Nov. 9, the company said in an Oct. 13 press release. It will be Take-Two's last quarterly report before Grand Theft Auto VI comes out on Nov. 19, 10 days later.

Take-Two plans a conference call on the results at 4:30 p.m. Eastern that day. It has not said what it will report about GTA 6, and the release announcing the date does not mention the game.

How to listen

Take-Two says a live, listen-only webcast of the call and a replay will be on its investor site, take2games.com/ir. The release also gives a dial-in number, (833) 461-5787, with meeting ID 112-490-011.

The call starts at 4:30 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 9. That is 1:30 p.m. Pacific, 9:30 p.m. in London and 10:30 p.m. in Paris and Berlin. In Tokyo it is 6:30 a.m., and in Sydney 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

What Take-Two said on Aug. 7

Take-Two's last report came on Aug. 7, for the quarter that ended June 30. In that day's results release, CEO Strauss Zelnick spoke of "excitement around the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI." The release's lineup table listed the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov. 19, 2026.

In his prepared remarks for the conference call the same day, Zelnick cited "our high degree of confidence around the November 19th release" and said the game was having "an exceptional start to pre-orders." Take-Two gave no pre-order figures.

What Zelnick said on Sept. 17

At Take-Two's virtual annual stockholder meeting on Sept. 17, Zelnick reiterated the Nov. 19 date, MarketBeat reported. Inven Global quoted him: "We're launching GTA 6 as a single player experience on two major platforms." He also said details on GTA 6 marketing would come from Rockstar Games rather than from Take-Two, according to Inven Global. Our story on the meeting has the rest of what he said.

Last year's November report

Last year, Take-Two reported its second-quarter results on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025. The same day, Rockstar announced on its Newswire that GTA 6 would move from May 26, 2026, to Nov. 19, 2026, saying the extra months would let it finish the game with the level of polish players expect. Take-Two's results release that day quoted Zelnick: "Rockstar Games will now release Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19, 2026."

Take-Two has listed Nov. 19 in each quarterly report since, on Feb. 3, May 21 and Aug. 7, 2026. Rockstar's Oct. 15 post for the Launch Trailer says: "Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19 to PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S." Neither company has announced a change.

What isn't known yet

• What Take-Two will say about GTA 6. The Oct. 13 release gives only the date, the time and how to listen.
• Whether Take-Two will share pre-order or sales numbers. On Aug. 7 it called the start of pre-orders exceptional and gave no figures.
