Shark

Sharks are part of GTA 6's sea life. VICE and Kotaku, reporting Game Informer's cover story, both say Leonida has several kinds of sharks.

Game Informer's Sept. 29, 2026, cover story reports several kinds of sharks in Leonida, according to both VICE and Kotaku. VICE lists them with whales, rays, turtles and jellyfish. VICE adds that, according to Rockstar, each of these sea creatures moves in its own way.

Rockstar has not said which kinds of sharks are in the game or where they can be found. Game Informer reports that certain animals are categorized as Rare, Discoverable or Legendary, but Rockstar has not said which ones. Our report on the cover story has more.
