Sara's Unisex Salon, an Ultimate Edition shop, offers facial hair, makeup and nails, and VICE reports that new hairstyles need a barber or salon, though you can shave or trim at a safehouse.

Rockstar says the Ultimate Edition's Sara's Unisex Salon offers signature salon styles, including facial hair for Jason and makeup and nails for Lucia. Rockstar's pre-order and Ultimate Edition extras also include hairstyles: Lucia's curls in the Vintage Vice City Pack and the Ultimate Edition's Vice City Style.

VICE's Oct. 7 summary of IGN's interview with Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, says you can shave or trim your hair and facial hair at a safehouse, but a new style means a trip to a barber or salon, and some salons carry hairstyles other locations don't. A new look also changes how police see you. "Changing your hair will change your appearance," Nelson said, according to Insider Gaming, though it won't help if the police still know what you are wearing.
