Feral cat

Feral cats are one of the named species in GTA 6's Leonida. Game Informer lists them with green iguanas, cane toads and rhesus macaque monkeys among more than 170 animals.

Game Informer's Sept. 29, 2026, cover story names feral cats among its examples of Leonida's more than 170 animal species. VICE's and Kotaku's reports on the story count more than 30 land mammals among them.

Game Informer also describes new hair and fur systems for the game's animals. Rockstar has not said where feral cats turn up or how they behave. Our gameplay features guide has more on Leonida's wildlife.
