South Park aired GTA 6 gameplay from Rockstar: a Vice City beach and a bag of dog poop

South Park showed Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay in its Oct. 28 episode, and the footage came from Rockstar Games. The episode's end credits say so, under special thanks: "Grand Theft Auto VI footage courtesy of Rockstar Games, Inc."

The clip runs about 17 seconds and plays on a TV in "Guinea Pig on a Stick," the fourth episode of South Park's 29th season, on Comedy Central. It's the first footage of something Rockstar had only described until now: picking up a bag of dog poop and using it on someone.

What the clip shows

From the episode and reports by Beebom, Notebookcheck and Power Up Gaming:

• A crowded Vice City beach. Jason and Lucia walk along the sand past sunbathers and umbrellas, with high-rises behind them. A minimap sits in the corner of the screen.
• A dog. A large dog relieves itself on the sand among the beachgoers.
• The fight. Jason throws what he's eating at the dog's owner, then picks a bag of dog poop up off the sand and goes after a man with it. The man is not pleased, and Jason does it again.

On screen, South Park's characters marvel at the detail while one of them talks through how it works: people pick up after their dogs, and if a fight breaks out, you can grab the bag and attack with it. Notebookcheck also points to footprints in the sand and to beachgoers reacting with lines of dialogue.

Rockstar described it in August

Rockstar North's co-studio head, Rob Nelson, described this move to YouTuber TGG, who got a hands-off look at the game in August, Kotaku reported at the time. If someone walking a dog picks up its mess with a bag, Nelson said, you can hit them so they drop the bag, then pick it up and throw it at people. Kotaku noted that it hadn't been shown in any footage. Now it has, in footage Rockstar supplied.

Why GTA 6 is on South Park

GTA 6 has been a running joke all season on South Park, GTA Boom and Notebookcheck note, but this is the first time the show has used Rockstar's own footage. Neither Rockstar nor Comedy Central has said how the clip came about.

South Park has aired real game footage before. Embark Studios supplied ARC Raiders footage for a November 2025 episode, and Blizzard helped the show film scenes inside World of Warcraft for 2006's "Make Love, Not Warcraft," Power Up Gaming notes.

Where to watch it

"Guinea Pig on a Stick" streams on Paramount+, and the GTA 6 scene comes near the end, according to Beebom. Rockstar hasn't posted the clip on its YouTube channel or the Rockstar Newswire, and the clip South Park put on YouTube from the episode is a different scene.

Until one of them does, the most-watched copy of the scene is a viewer's recording on X, posted by @videotech the night the episode aired. It's a recording of the broadcast, not an official upload. We'll replace it with the official video if Rockstar or South Park releases one.
