Manatee

Manatees are among the more than 170 animal species in GTA 6's Leonida, according to Game Informer's cover story, which names them alongside flamingos and pelicans.

Game Informer's Sept. 29, 2026, cover story names manatees among its examples of Leonida's more than 170 animal species. Michael Kane, Rockstar's VP of dynamic art, told the magazine the team wanted to faithfully include Florida's diverse animal ecosystem across Leonida's biomes, according to Insider Gaming.

Rockstar has not said where manatees live in Leonida or how you might come across them. Our report on the cover story has the rest of the wildlife details.
