Pelicans are one of the species Game Informer lists for GTA 6's Leonida, part of more than 170 animals that VICE and Kotaku say include over 60 types of birds.

Game Informer's Sept. 29, 2026, cover story names pelicans among its examples of Leonida's wildlife. According to VICE's and Kotaku's reports on the story, the state has more than 170 animal species, and over 60 of them are types of birds.

Game Informer also describes visual detail such as varied feather types and iridescence. Rockstar has not said where pelicans appear in Leonida. Our gameplay features guide covers what else is known about the game's wildlife.
