GTA 6 Ambrosia: the sugar town where a biker gang runs things, explained

Ambrosia is the industrial heart of Grand Theft Auto VI's Leonida: a sugar town under the smokestacks of the Allied Crystal refinery, where a local biker gang provides most of what the refinery doesn't. It's one of the six regions Rockstar Games has named. Here's everything Rockstar has said and shown of Ambrosia, from its own description to the six official screenshots and the names on its signs.

What Rockstar says

Rockstar heads its page for the region "Keeping Leonida Sweet," with the line "The battle for the health and wealth of Leonida begins here." Its description: "In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme," it says, "whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else."

Rockstar's postcard shows refinery smokestacks against an orange sky, with a tall tank painted in stars and stripes.

What the six screenshots show

Rockstar released six screenshots of Ambrosia. In order:

1. A motorcycle gang in matching leather vests riding down a road lined with campaign yard signs, past a Xero gas station and a sign for the sheriff's office.
2. The Ambrosia skyline at night, with smokestacks in the distance.
3. A woman hugging a bearded biker from behind, showing off the handgun she's holding.
4. A field of crops burning at sunset, beneath power lines and smokestacks.
5. A man behind the wheel as women in bikinis wash his car.
6. A mud-covered man in a cowboy hat throwing up the horns at a muddy off-road party.

The bikers

Rockstar's description gives "the local biker gang" almost everything the refinery doesn't provide, and bikers are in two of the six screenshots. In the first, the riders' vests read Final Chapter MC, with Ambrosia and 1982 on their patches. Rockstar's text doesn't name the gang, so we can't confirm the Final Chapter is the one it means.

Places named in Ambrosia

• The Allied Crystal sugar refinery, which Rockstar's description makes the region's employer.
• The Ambrosia County Sheriff's Office, on a "turn ahead" road sign in the first screenshot.
• Xero, a gas station chain whose sign, prices and food mart stand by the road in the same screenshot.
• Leonard County, on an overhead sign with Ambrosia in An Extended Look at 6:10, as Lucia leans out of a red convertible.

A U.S. 35 North sign in Trailer 2, at 0:38, points to Ambrosia and VCI Airport.

The campaign signs, and what LOVE says

Red campaign yard signs line the road in the first screenshot, and one reads "Vote Erin Henshaw" under Allied Crystal's name. Rockstar's text doesn't mention Henshaw, so who Henshaw is and what the race is for aren't confirmed. LOVE magazine's GTA 6 issue, which interviewed five Rockstar staff, mentions a "Vote Erin Henshaw" sign in Ambrosia too, sponsored by the sugar company, and says the region draws on Clewiston and Lake Okeechobee; those are the magazine's descriptions, not Rockstar's. What we don't know

• Whether the Final Chapter is the gang Rockstar means, and what part the bikers play in the story.
• Exactly where Ambrosia sits. Rockstar says "in the heart of Leonida" but hasn't released the map.
• What the "battle for the health and wealth of Leonida" is. Rockstar hasn't said how the region fits into the story.
