Miami's E11EVEN turns into GTA 6's NINE1NINE for one night on Nov. 6, with Flo Rida

One of GTA 6's Vice City clubs is opening in the real Miami for a night. E11EVEN, the 24-hour club in downtown Miami, is holding a "NINE1NINE Vice City grand opening" on Friday, Nov. 6, with Flo Rida performing, according to the club's own event listings. Miami New Times reported the announcement on Oct. 30. The night falls two weeks before GTA 6 comes out on Nov. 19.

It's the club's event, not Rockstar's

The listing comes from E11EVEN, sells tickets and tables through the club, and doesn't mention Rockstar Games. Rockstar hasn't announced the night or said it's involved. The announcement also doesn't say how long the NINE1NINE branding will stay up or what changes inside, Miami New Times notes. Its flyer shows a blue and purple sports car under a giant NINE1NINE sign.

What NINE1NINE is in the game

NINE1NINE is a Vice City club Rockstar has shown twice:

• In Trailer 1, at 0:16, a seaplane tows its purple banner over the city with the line "Why sixtynine when you can nine 1 nine."
• In Trailer 2, at 1:40, the NINE1NINE sign, with "Vice City" under the name, glows over a crowded terrace.

Rockstar hasn't said anything more about the club, including whether you can go inside.

Why E11EVEN

The fictional club has drawn comparisons with E11EVEN, Miami New Times says, and E11EVEN has played along before: in December 2023, two weeks after Trailer 1, it answered with a parody video of its own, Dexerto reported at the time. Rockstar hasn't said the club is based on E11EVEN.

Miami's other GTA 6 tie-ins

The night joins a growing list of GTA 6 promotions around Miami:

• Miami-Dade's $3.9 million deal with Rockstar, which brings themed lights to the airport and PortMiami;
• the "Welcome to Vice City" sign and Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell stands at the Kaseya Center;
• the Wynwood Walls murals;
• the HEAT's Night in Vice City on Nov. 18.
