The Miami HEAT's GTA 6 'Vice City' uniforms are out, made with Rockstar, Travis Scott's Cactus Jack and Nike

The Miami HEAT have shown what they'll wear as "Vice City" on Nov. 18, the night before Grand Theft Auto VI comes out, and there are two uniforms. The team revealed them on Friday, Nov. 6, as a collaboration with Rockstar Games, Travis Scott's Cactus Jack label and Nike. Fans can buy one of them, but only at Kaseya Center on the night.

They fill the biggest gap in the HEAT's Oct. 2 announcement of A Night in Vice City, which promised a uniform the team had never worn and showed nothing of it. The team's page sums up the new designs in two lines: "Cactus Jack on the tag. Vice City in every thread."

Two uniforms

Both are black with pink and white trim, and they come with matching black shorts that carry an all-pink HEAT logo, six stars and Cactus Jack branding on one leg, Sports Illustrated reports. The players' version keeps references to the game quiet because NBA uniform rules don't allow overt ones, Sole Retriever says.

The details come from ESPN, Sports Illustrated and Sole Retriever, which described the HEAT's photos. The fan jersey is a Nike Swingman, the replica cut Nike sells to fans.

Where to buy one

The HEAT's page lists the Vice City uniform for sale at A Night in Vice City itself, and its post revealing the uniforms says it will be available in limited quantities. ESPN and Sole Retriever report that both versions will be sold that night, but the team's own page marks the players' one as on court only, so we're going by the page.

No price has been announced, and the HEAT haven't mentioned selling either uniform online. The page has a sign-up for news of the uniform drop.

These are HEAT products, not Rockstar's. Rockstar sells its own GTA 6 clothing, the Grand Theft Auto VI Collection, and a collector's box, The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection, on the Rockstar Store.

The rest of the night

• The game. The HEAT, as Vice City, host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. ET. It's on ESPN, WPLG Local 10 and 104.3 WQAM, the team's page says.
• The court. The HEAT promise one-night hardwood built for Vice City. It hasn't been shown yet.
• The food. Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell are already serving inside the arena: Burger Shot at Sections 105, 120, 308 and 324, Cluckin' Bell at Section 325.
• More to come. The page still promises special activities on the night, without details.

The arena itself has carried Rockstar's pink "Welcome to Vice City" sign on its roof since September.

How it ties to the game

Travis Scott is already part of GTA 6: his single "RHYNO" is on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, out Nov. 19, and our soundtrack guide has the rest of it.

Vice City has an arena of its own, too. Rockstar's Vice City 08 screenshot shows one lit up by the bay with a sign reading sahara arena, but Rockstar hasn't said whether it's the game's version of Kaseya Center, or whether a team plays there.

The shoes aren't announced

The uniforms share their black and pink with a pack of Travis Scott Air Force 1 Lows that sneaker sites have been passing around. Sneaker Market RO reported on Oct. 31 that Cactus Jack, Nike and Rockstar are making three colorways for Nov. 19, at $130 a pair, GTA BOOM says. Nike, Rockstar and Cactus Jack haven't announced them.

Rockstar hasn't posted about the uniforms on its Newswire, where its latest GTA 6 posts are the pre-load date on Nov. 3 and the Launch Gallery on Nov. 5. GTA 6 comes out Nov. 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The rest of Rockstar's Miami push runs from the Vice City blimp over Homestead this weekend to Miami-Dade's $3.9 million deal, which brings themed lights to the airport and PortMiami.
